I want to call your attention to a recent essay by Stephen King, published in The New York Times, titled "What Ails the Short Story." I'd quoted from an earlier essay by him when I first launched this website.

It's been pointed out to me that my site is out of date. That's true. For example:
- It's already fall, and I haven't posted a spring or summer pick yet. (I suck.)
I'm working on it, kids. Good stuff is coming. Really. In the meantime, here is a mildly disturbing animated picture of me eating a hamburger really fast.
